These were taken at Sandy Camp Road Wetlands Reserve in Brisbane not far from where I live. I work in the city and often see ibises scavenging through bins so it was great to see them and other birds in their natural habitat.
These are a couple of photos I took while we were on a cruise back in June. The clouds were magnificent. This is off Mystery Island (Aneityum Island), Vanuatu.
I almost didn’t go for my planned shoot after work this afternoon because of the cloud cover but I’m glad I did. It looked like rain was going to set in but for a short time the clouds parted for this glorious sunset over the Captain Cook Bridge. Within an hour it it was blue. Nature certainly likes to show off 🙂
Out and about at Kangaroo Point Cliffs once again. Brisbane has such breathtaking city views and the stars were out to play. Perfect!
Kingscote, Kangaroo Island, South Australia on a beautiful autumn evening.
While at Kingscote on Kangaroo Island, South Australia, we came across the Pelican Man who came to the jetty every day to feed the pelicans and to give a little talk to those who were interested in listening. I think these birds are fascinating and it was interesting to learn about them.
Millaa Millaa is an Aboriginal phrase meaning plenty of water or waterfall. I had the privilege of visiting this beautiful waterfall in the Atherton Tablelands, Cairns. It was loud and it was stunning and people swam in the waterhole. Nature is truly beautiful.
I thought I’d revisit one of my favourite fountains in Brisbane 🙂
Look within. Within is the fountain of good, and it will ever bubble up, if thou wilt ever dig.
