Sunset Over the Captain Cook Bridge

I almost didn’t go for my planned shoot after work this afternoon because of the cloud cover but I’m glad I did. It looked like rain was going to set in but for a short time the clouds parted for this glorious sunset over the Captain Cook Bridge. Within an hour it it was blue. Nature certainly likes to show off 🙂

  1. how cool the way it changed to blue – and what a gorgeous shot.
also – the cranes in the photo are my favorite part – they whisper of growth and a changing skyline…. and capture this time and place with a unique stamp.

      1. that happened to me in our city (richmond va) I later saw some cranes in the back and was glad to have captured them. and yours will be nice to compare later – as you said- – and in years to come the photo might even be more special…
