Warwick, Queensland – Part 1

St Mary’s Catholic church in Warwick, Queensland. Warwick is a country town 130 klms from Brisbane and a quite two-hour drive with impressive views will get you there. It was great to be inside this church with not another soul in there (well maybe a soul or two I didn’t know about). More of Warwick to come soon.

    1. Thanks very much Dennis, that’s a lovely thing to say and yes it has taken over. Maybe one day when I retire I’ll be able to do all the things I love. Thanks for the visit 🙂

    1. Thanks Emilio. It’s natural light and I shot these on auto/no flash. I don’t know why I do that…there was no one but I find I am always rushing my photo sessions as if someone is chasing me. I really need to stop doing that because I don’t like the auto ISO.

  1. These are fantastic photos Norma; I expect this church looked lovely in reality. Whether we are religious or not, and Im not really anymore, for me there. Is still “something” about churches such as this. Xx

What beautiful captures of this lovely building! The architectural details in these older churches are amazing. 🙂
