So I have a thing for bridges and night photography and I’m sure most of you have noticed this by now. I just can’t seem to help myself 🙂 This is a shot of Kurilpa Bridge, a pedestrian/cycle bridge which opened in 2009. It is the world’s largest hybrid tensegrity bridge. The bridge is lit with a sophisticated LED lighting system which can be programmed to produce an array of different lighting effects (ok I have a thing for LED lighting too). The lights are solar powered which I think is pretty cool. The other bridge in the distance is The William Jolly Bridge which was opened in 1932. Quite a contrast in structure.
Lovely looking structure. Great photo.
